Spacious Deluxe King Room on the fourth floor offered comfort with mountain views. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh Maine blueberries and delicious options like eggs and sausage. While a fridge issue delayed the cooling of drinks, the staff’s attentiveness and the pleasant lobby cookies made a positive impact on the stay. Minor improvements could elevate the experience, such as offering warmer hard-boiled eggs.

Great variety of breakfast options!
The furnishings look old and worn out. The pool area, although appreciated, requires significant improvements to be enjoyable.

I had a great time at the Grand Hotel in Bar Harbor. The location couldn't be better. It’s close to shops and restaurants, yet not right in the bustling area. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfy bed that made for great nights of sleep. I loved the beautiful front porch to relax on, especially with a coffee in hand. Breakfast options were impressive, with various choices including fresh fruit and delicious pastries. I noticed they had gluten-free options too, which was a nice touch. However, parking was a bit tricky at times, especially when the hotel was full. It would have been great to have more variety in the breakfast on different days, since it felt a bit repetitive by the end of my stay. Overall, the staff were super friendly and responsive, adding a personal touch that made me feel welcomed. I didn't encounter many issues aside from the parking situation. I look forward to staying here again.

A fantastic stay with our kids! We adored the spacious room and loved that we were just a short walk from the waterfront. The kids received adorable stuffed animals at check-in. The breakfast was a hit, too!
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly dining options on-site.

We had an amazing group trip! The covered front porch was perfect for relaxing and people-watching while sipping lemonade. We hiked the trails at Cadillac Mountain and explored the golf course. The staff was friendly, the rooms spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options.
The only downside was the TV remote in one of our rooms didn't work, making it tough to catch up on the news. The front desk wasn’t helpful after hours, but this didn’t ruin our stay.
